The National Institute for Korean Medicine Development(NIKOM) is the only institution in Korea focused on promoting the Korean Medicine industry.
We work to improve public health and support national economic growth by developing Korean Medicine(KM), advancing technology, and growing the industry. We also carry out a wide range of work to advance KM including policy support, research and development, industrialization support, international cooperation, and building a foundation based on big data and AI.
As the healthcare environment changes rapidly, we will continue to innovate in both industry and technology, so that KM can bring real value to people's daily lives. We are fully committed to three goals-providing the public with safe and trustworthy KM, being a reliable partner that supports growth for the industry and practitioners in the field, and further promoting the global competitiveness of KM.
